I'm a 22 year old nursing student attending Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I moved up north after living in Houston, Texas for 17 years and I must say, with the exception of the snow, I love it here...
In the summer months when I'm not in school, you might find me flying along on my CBR with some of the boyz... Together a couple of us organized a group of sportbike enthusiasts and our local S.C.R.E.A.M. crew was born. In addition to riding with my friends, I've taken two high performance riding schools and have worked part time throughout the last 2 years at ProCycle, a local motorcycle dealership.

Deb's Harley Davidson (DebsHD)
Welcome To My Home Page
Hi, my name is Debbie Smith. I live in Southern California and I ride a 1995 Harley Davidson Fatboy. I got interested in motorcycle riding a few years ago when I had an opportunity to meet some really wonderful people who rode motorcycles for pleasure (mostly Harleys) and belonged to a great non-profit organization called Modified Motorcycle Associaton (MMA).
During the last 5 years, I have ridden a number of motorcycle related rides and events, and met even more terrific people who ride many different types of motorcycles including Hondas, BMWs, Yamahas, and...of course...Harleys! Now, in addition to belonging to MMA, I am a member of Women on Wheels (WOW), Harley Owners Group (HOG), and ABATE. I've included links to their websites under my Favorite Links page.

Fastchickie's website
I was born in Brazil and lived there for about a year while my parents where finishing up the adoption papers. Once the papers went through I was brought to Orlando, Florida and lived here until I was 19yrs old. I attended private schools and played just about every sport under the sun. I never wanted for anything and my parents made many sacrifices so both my brother and I could take every sport to the farthest level we wanted to.
I got engaged when I was 19 and moved to Michigan but in June of 02 we both realized that we were growing apart from each other. We just wanted different things so I moved back to Florida. It was way to cold in MI besides and all my friends are down here. I missed my family, friends, and my dog. I learned a lot about myself when I was up in Michigan and while I was making the roadtrip back here.
Since I have been back I have meet an AMAZING guy. Its a really funny story, but for reading purposes he makes me extremely happy. I couldn't ask for a better person. So besides riding a lot, doing trackdays, restoring a 68 fastback, and going flying (did I mention he is a private pilot?) I have been just chillin. Also doing some clubbing and chilling with my girl Jenny! She is my girl and been there for me through thick and thin. I also have hooked up with CFCR riders and usually ride on Sundays with them and we meet at WingHouse on Tuesdays to eat and just BS with each other. If your In Orlando you ought to come on out!
Most of you know I work for cycleforums and for over a year been working on an idea of making a real womens site. Not one focused on who can have the sexiest pictures, etc a real homepage with real articles etc. Its going to be awesome SO if you are a woman rider, or want to get into riding register at cycleforums and meet the rest of the ladies. We are going to have our own site, name, rider of the month, Women test rides on different bikes, and much more :) Its going to be awesome. Its not just directed to the sportbike community either. Everyone from cruisers, to sport tourers, dirtbikes, to super motard. I'm so excited since I have had these ideas and plans working for a long time now. Okay time for the more personal side :)

Fuzzy Galore
A "motodiary" from a woman sportbiker:
"Hey There.
Fuzzygalore.com is my place to jabber on about my life as it applies to motorcycles. It's just kind of like my moto-diary really. I'm just a regular broad who happens to love sport & naked bikes as well as sport-touring.
Over the years, bikes have afforded me with many self-exploratory adventures and introduced me to people whom I probably wouldn't have met otherwise. Motorcycles have enriched my life, extended my family and widened my horizons.
Many thanks to all for the great feedback, the words of encouragement and well wishes over the years. Stay safe out there everybody".

FZR Babe
This is a page for those interested in Yamaha's non-current FZR600, an angry little machine notorious for having shit suspension and none of the latest trickery. This page is also for those who are interested in a machine that can absolutely slice up corners, offer very usable power, and still leave you money to thrash tires, 'cause that's what you'd be doing if you owned one.
These pages describe my experience with my own steed, a Vance and Hines edition FZR600 circa 1992 as well as imformation stolen from various bike mags and racers from the net. When I started riding 5 years ago there was dick all to talk to about motorcycling and much less someone who would tell me how to take care of my first bike. Now there's tons but still not much on Yamaha's goodies. So I have compiled this eclectic hunkuf info. ENJOY!
I reside in Highlands Ranch Colorado with my husband and two kids. In the thirty years I've been here I have aquired a few interesting hobbies, and motorcycling is my favorite. My name is Carol Spickler, and why the FZRBABE thing? Well I guess it could best be described as a remnant of my "HELLO, I RIDE A MOTORCYCLE, AND I'M A CHICK!" days. Today I wave at the passing bikers and I'm starting to not mentally scream at them "I'M A CHICK," but I do hope they'll notice the long hair or something, and maybe just for a billisecond wonder "Hmmm, was that a woman?" I even, for a brief time (and I hate admitting this, just so you know), toyed with the idea of a vanity plate along the lines of "CHICK" or "FEMALE" or "FZRBABE" or something to give people a clue. Of course these ideas were dismissed almost immediately. I suppose I could don pink leathers or ride around in a bikini top, but I do have some small modicum of self-respect & self-preservation. Now if people start mistaking me for a guy off the bike... well, then I may have to take drastic measures, but that's a whole other rant entirely, and I've gone on long enough. So, if your out on the streets, and you see a wimpy little dude out on his motorcycle, be nice to him. And remember it's not how you look, it's how you ride.

LadyBlue's Motorcycles Page
Welcome To LadyBlue's Motorcycles Page. On this page you will find links to some motorcycle stories I have written, pictures and some links to my favorite webpages. I hope you enjoy being here as much as I've enjoyed putting this page together. I've been riding a motorcycle for 4 years now again.I just have this certain passion.... In fact, I think I am an addict.(grin)
Well, Fall and Winter are here. Not much riding going on now anymore with fog, ice and maybe a bit of snow. Poor bike will sit there for a while getting all dusty. And I'm busy with school, studying and working. The holidays are around the corner too and the stress is on. Since we have moved, I've been busy in the yard and haven't done much riding. I still look forward to riding a bit more here then in Seattle where the traffic is a nightmare. I still want to take some trips and check out the roads here. The weather sure is nicer here in the Tri-Cities. There is four seasons here for sure.
Thanks to all you folks who have droped me a line per Email. It's been great to hear from all of you. Stay warm this winter and I'll see you on the road soon again.
Who Am I?
Well, lets see now. Where shall we start.
My name is Carmen Adams. I'm 43 years old, am married, have 3 children, ride a 1997 Honda Magna 750cc, yellow and black in color and we moved from Seattle to Kennewick, Washington after living in Seattle for 19 years. The weather is much nicer here ( not as much rain) and traffic is much lighter. Yes, I'm a women rider as you may have guessed.
I grew up in Germany and lived there untill I was 18 years old. My hubby swept me off my feet in 1975. He was stationed in Germany at the time.
I won't bore you with ALL the details of my life. Just some (grin). I used to ride a little Honda 50cc when I was 16 years old. I suppose thats how I got addicted to riding in the first place.
I quit riding and took it back up two years ago in the summer after 23 years. Just couldn't stand it anymore, had to have a bike again.
The Honda Magna is my fourth bike and I love it. It handles wonderful, rides like a dream and has more then enough torque and power. I have added a windshield, a tankbag, stationary saddlebags and a personal licence plate that says " It's yellow, it's fast and it's MINE". I'm looking also to get a back rack in the future. Not and easy task, I don't have a backseat to attach it to. Maybe someday I will find one that will work for us.
I am also a member of MotoCentral. I was a chat host in the Motorcycles Chat Room for 6 months before MSN decided to change things again. Since then we have a new website and it's better then ever. Please have a look. I'm sure you will find it more then interesting and to your liking.
I have also written several stories. You will find them posted here and on the MotoCentral webpage. Writing is something that I enjoy. Be sure to stick around and read them. If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to Email me.
For now I'm glad to meet ya and glad you stopped by. Take care and ride safe, rubber side down folks.
Carmen

LoRidr's Vulcan Low Rider
Welcome to my Website! Located in the menu to the left, are links to various parts of my bike, that allow you to follow along in it's evolution.
Above is a picture of my 1999 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic. Click the photos with blue borders, for a peek at older pics of my bike. You'll see that it has been through many changes since May of 1999.
I'm a small person, 5'1" tall and about 108 lbs, so this is a BIG bike for my build. Tweek lowered the frame so the saddle height is about 24", installed a set of 5 1/2" x 1" risers to pull the bars back, installed a set of handlebars from a Vulcan 1500 Classic (they have more 'pull-back'), modified the levers so my fingers would rest comfortably on them, altered the pedal position and installed floorboards for my feet, and "tweek'd the kickstand so the bike would park correctly with it's new lower stance. We also recently installed a Cobra crash bar, a custom-built Corbin Solo saddle, Iron Braid lever leathers, a headlight visor, RevTech wheels, Scootworks Belt drive and Brake Pedal, a chrome oil filter, and bunches of other goodies. It looks pretty good, doesn't it?
Even though this bike is manufactured by Kawasaki, it's built in Lincoln Nebraska. Yep, American made. The Vulcan was actually designed by John Hoover of Kawasaki, in a computer simulation that morphed a 1941 Indian Motorcycle image to see what it _might have_ looked like today, if Indian had stayed in business throughout the evolution of Cruisers as we know them. He plugged in the styling trends that most companies followed over the last several decades, and the result was my beloved Vulcan Classic. Cool!
Scootworks is a custom designer and supplier of belt drive conversion kits, brake pedals, chrome metric fasteners, lowering kits, custom wheel conversion kits, disc brake conversion kits, rear suspension links, shock spring compressor tools, and aftermarket accessories for Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha motorcycles. Aftermarket accessories include saddlebags, handlebar risers, wheel covers, motorcycle covers, fender trim, Mustang saddles, driving and highway lights, crashbars, and more from Custom World International.

Sportbikegirl.com
Sportbikegirl.com- A female run website catoring to the ladies who ride sportbikes. Photo's, products, information and more.
Judd Weirbach, father of Tiffany Weirbach also known as "sportbikegirl" has completed his book titled "Dads Girl". It is about his daughter and the many memories of events that father and daughter shared during her all to short lifetime. The book also shows the sheer determination Tiffany exhibited during her battle with melanoma cancer. Tiffany was determined to ride her Honda CBR 900- RR even while undergoing chemo treatments, she was not going to let cancer control or eliminate her love of riding sportbikes. The very unique way the author has with written words describes to the reader what takes place in the family when a daughter is dealing with a life threatening disease.
The book is well written and shows a very touching and emotional side of father and daughter that to date has not been written about in such a poignant and certainly honest manner. This book is most definitely going to shatter the myths and perceptions about men not having emotions. The unique way the author blends current time events taking place with the many memories of events that father and daughter participated in from her infancy to her becoming a young woman indicate the love and respect each had for the other. The book will have you laughing at some of the events and yet a few pages later tears might be forming, then happier events unfold to the reader. Even though she lost her battle with melanoma the book is not about tragedy but how well this young woman lived her life and met every challenge she faced in a direct and unyielding manner.

My name is Suzanne Fetting. I am fortunate enough to live in beautiful Vancouver, B.C. Canada.
Surrounded by breathtaking mountains and the Pacific ocean, it's a fantastic place to ride a motorcycle. In addition to riding and racing sportbikes, I am also a spokes model and event planner and enjoy dedicating my spare time to my other interests which include: fashion show production, DJing, running, rollerblading, snowblading, shopping and having a good time enjoying life :)
If you are considering riding a motorcycle of any kind and are curious about how to get into the sport, hopefully after reading this you'll walk away a little bit more informed about your decision.
I'll start off by telling you a little bit about myself and how I got into riding. I began as a passenger on the back of a friends and boyfriends sportbike and quickly realized that I belonged on the front!
I took a motorcycle safety course 8 years ago, got my class 6 license and got a 1993 Kawasaki EX 500. I rode that bike for 2 full seasons then slowly moved my way up from my EX 500 to a brand new baby, a 2000 Suzuki Sv650S. I rode that bike for season and after having it SV knocked over and driven on top of by some knucklehead in a Durango and it got written off. (It could have been worse, I could have been on it!)
After that lil' mishap, I bought my new baby, a 2001 Kawasaki ZX6R. Right back to the Kawi's ˜ I love 'em.˜
In 2003, I also got a 2003 Kawasaki 636, a REALLY fun bike, that's amazing to in the twisties!!!
In addition to street riding, I also participate in several track days. I belong to the B.C. Sportbike Rider's Association as well as Westwood Motorcycle Racing Club and in 2001 I got my novice-racing license. I plan on pursing racing and would love to go pro one day.
So, any interested sponsors out there. Let me know!!!
Riding a sportbike, for me is very rewarding for many reasons. I love the adrenaline rush. I am a self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie. I also love the freedom you get being on a bike. And I love the fact that it's a male dominated sport, which only makes me want to excel at it.
When riding, I think it's incredibly important to go out there with the right attitude; you MUST respect your bike.
Going out to the wild streets on a machine that can kill you and not having respect for what it is capable of doing is a recipe for disaster. It's very important for you to learn your motorcycle and what it can do. Different motorcycles have different capabilities, as do different riders. You are very vulnerable in the streets on a motorcycle, but at the same time, there are so many other dangers and risks we take in our everyday life. That doesn't mean that we avoid taking these risks, it just means we have to become better educated and more aware so we can be safer and enjoy them without fear.
If you're a female who is interested in riding as well I would have to say, stop just thinking and wondering about it and get up and start doing it!
The first and most important thing I can recommend for those ladies who are considering riding, would be to not allow yourself to be pressured by or learn from your boyfriend, husband, brother or any friend. It is very easy to pick up bad habits and can put stress on your relationship. I've seen it and heard about it WAY too many times. I highly recommend going straight to a motorcycle safety course. Taking a motorcycle course will teach you how to save your life. It's as simple as that. You learn in a safe and comfortable environment with trained professionals on smaller lightweight motorcycles that are provided for you. And in no time at all, usually a couple of weeks, you've passed your course and you've got your license to ride.
Look in your local yellow pages for schools, go to your local shops and talk to people who are riding, even if you don't know them, people who ride love to talk bikes.
Learning to ride is not hard, it's just very different from driving a car. But SO much better!
