97 Dr350se
Over the last six years I have made many changes to the bike. The changes I made were to make the bike better in the woods and fit my size (6'4" 210 lbs.). I'm the "better safe than sorry" type so I also added guards to protect the bike and myself. The following is a list of what I have done so far. All work was done by me.
Removed chain guard, buddy pegs, subframe fender brace and everything attatched to it, moved the plate to the fender, changed gearing to 15/46 added R.K. XSO 520 chain (110 link). Installed Maier frame guards, fork/disk guards, IMS rear disk guard, hand made caliper guard, Baja Designs extended shifter and chain guide, Dunlop K139 front D606 rear, Motion Pro rim locks, Enduro Engineering hand guards and deflectors, Fly Racing aluminum bars (RMX bend) narrowed to 28", Oury grips, Ken Sean folding mirror, Thumper Racing 1 1/2" bar risers, Ceet tall seat foam and custom made cover, Acerbis front fender brace (needed after cutting fender to clear fork brace), Supertrapp IDS 2 pipe (with quite core) 12 disks installed, 1 1/2" ceramic coated header and Vortex air box from Kientech Engineering, carb vent T'ed, JX needle and spring (clip 4th down), pilot jet opened up with a #78 drill bit, 145 main jet, Scott T handle, SRC seal savers and fork brace, Kouba Links, Eiback 7.6 kg rear spring, Race Tec .46 kg/mm front springs, changed fork oil from 10w to 15w, slide the forks down in the clamps 3/8", set rear sag to offset moving the forks down.
The bike is a joy to ride after all the work that I have done. The Kouba Links are worth there weight in gold! The bike never bucked or kicked the rear sideways. The tall seat and bar risers make thing much less cramped.
UP DATE
I have sold this bike in stock form and sold off all the after market goodies.

Welcome to "Fist Full of Throttle"
These pages contain info on dirt bikes, and everything related to dirt biking.
I am not a professional, but I have been riding since 12 years of age. Not an expert but have owned a few bikes and done all the work on them myself. I am no riding expert but I have completed a few enduros in Australia.
As I travel and interesting events occur I will include them in the diary and upload photographs. I have other interests too, check out my links.
I currently own a 1997 Honda CR500. It is a powerful machine and that is how I like them.
I ride mainly with my brother in laws, John, Albert, and with friends. We live in Victoria Australia and our favourite riding spots are in the high country.
Join us in our adventures and let us know about yours.
Safe riding
