Ocean State BMW Riders
We are a group of motorcyclists with a primary goal of riding. It is our love of BMW Motorcycles and "to be in the wind" that binds us.
Rhode Island is "The Ocean State". It is from our club's home state that we took
our name when the club was formed in 1993.

BMW Club of Northern California, USA
Whether you're the proud new owner of your very first BMW motorcycle, new to Northern California, or just ready for the best, the BMW Club of Northern California is for you. We're a band of very special BMW enthusiasts of all ages who enjoy riding, touring, camping and just having a good time with other BMW riders. And we've been looking for you!
A Brief Introduction
The BMW Club of Northern California was founded in 1965, holds Charter Number 9 from the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America (BMWMOA), and Charter Number 06083 from the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA). We are a group of BMW motorcycle owners who ride, tour and camp together and enjoy the fun and camaraderie that result from those activities.
The Club currently has over 200 members, some are novices, some are highly experienced, and most are somewhere in-between. We ride everything from vintage BMW's to sidecar rigs to K-1200s. Some enjoy sport touring, some travel with everything but the kitchen sink, some seek out dirt roads, and some consider a budget hotel roughing it.

Springfield IL Milers
Springfield Milers BMW Motorcycle Club - The first meeting was held in my basement in March of 1982. We called ourselves the Milers because the Springfield Mile dirt track race was back, after an absence of a few years, and we had something to be proud of. At that meeting, my driveway was full of motorcycles and all the members and their guests could barely fit in the basement. From there, our meetings were held at the Aqua Club and as the club grew, we moved to a pub/cafe on Ash street in Springfield (the name eludes me now).
Today (1992), the Milers are among the most active BMW clubs in the nation and have grown to 71 members.
